Overview
The Ohio State College of Dentistry student clinics are open to the public and offer dental services and specialty care for patients of all ages. Appointments may take longer than in a private office, however services often cost half of the Columbus average. All care is performed by students under the supervision of our exceptionally skilled licensed faculty dentists.
Services Provided
Basic Teeth Whitening
A cosmetic dental procedure aimed at lightening the color of the teeth and removing stains or discoloration.
Bonding
A cosmetic procedure that uses a tooth-colored resin to repair or improve the appearance of teeth.
Cleanings
During a dental cleaning, the dentist or dental hygienist removes plaque, tartar (hardened plaque), and stains from the teeth.
Crowns
Dental restorations used to repair and replace damaged or missing teeth, restoring both the functionality and appearance of the patient's smile.
Dental Implants Restoration
Prosthetic devices used to replace missing teeth by replicating the structure and function of natural teeth.
Dentures/Partials
Removable dental prosthetics used to replace missing teeth and restore oral function and aesthetics.
Extractions
This procedure may be necessary for various reasons, such as severe decay, advanced periodontal disease, trauma, overcrowding, or preparation for orthodontic treatment.
Fillings
A restorative dental treatment used to repair teeth that have been damaged by decay, cavities, or fractures.
Gum Disease Treatment
Treatment to restore gum health, prevent disease progression, and maintain the integrity of the teeth and surrounding tissues.
Veneers
A veneer is material placed on the surface of your tooth/teeth to improve the appearance of your teeth and protect them from damage.
Methods of Payment
Fees and Insurance
Fees are about 40 to 50 percent less than the Columbus-area average; Medicaid-eligible patients pay even lower fees.
We accept Delta Dental, Medicaid, CareSource, Molina, and United Healthcare Community Plan.
