7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

September 9, 10, 12, 13, 20 – 7 patient limit
October 9 – 7 patient limit and 10:30 a.m. cut off time
November 11, 28, 29 – CLOSED
December 2, 4 – 7 patient limit and 10:30 a.m. cut off time
December 24, 25 – CLOSED
January 1 – CLOSED

Emergency care is provided by third- and fourth-year dental students under the supervision of licensed faculty dentists.

Attention

Appointments are not available. This is a first come, first served emergency clinic. Hours may vary based on how quickly patients arrive. It is recommended you call before traveling to see if we have met our patient limit for the day. 

Services Provided

First Floor Emergency Dental Clinic

The Emergency Dental Clinic is for patients who are experiencing:

  • moderate-to-severe pain that is not relieved by taking pain medications 
  • oral bleeding
  • facial/oral swelling

Services to treat these dental conditions include tooth extraction and root canals. 

The Emergency Dental Clinic does not provide fillings/crowns, denture repairs, cleanings, or general wisdom teeth (third molar) extractions. Anyone needing these services should become a patient of one of our college clinics. IV-sedation is not available as a walk-in treatment option.

Fees

The average estimated cost for treatment in the First Floor Emergency (non-referral patients) is $231 to $450, depending on the services performed (fees may change without notice).
