At your first appointment, we will review your medical history, check your blood pressure, x-ray your teeth, and examine your mouth and jaws. This examination will allow us to develop a treatment plan specifically designed to address your dental needs. Future appointments will be scheduled to resolve any problems and maintain your overall oral health.

Dental students who are studying for their Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.) and dental hygiene students who are studying for their Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree (B.S.D.H.) provide care for patients under close supervision by experienced, licensed faculty dentists and dental hygienists.
-
Graduate specialty dentists, also called residents, provide care to patients under faculty supervision. These residents have already earned a dental degree and are studying a dental specialty such as orthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, or pediatric dentistry.
-
Licensed and experienced dentists who also teach at the College of Dentistry will provide your care. At a minimum, all dentists in the Ohio State Dental Faculty Practice hold a dental license and many also hold specialty certifications.
